Pakistan Issues Alert Over Potential Indian Military Strike in Next 24-36 Hours
Pakistani Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar issued a warning on Wednesday about a possible military strike by India within the next 24 to 36 hours.

In a video statement, Tarar indicated that credible intelligence had been received, suggesting that India was gearing up for military action based on what he termed "baseless and concocted allegations" linked to a recent incident in Pahalgam, which is situated in Indian-controlled Kashmir.

He cautioned that any such action from India would provoke a "decisive" response.

"India's self-assumed hubristic role of the judge, jury and executioner in the region is reckless and vehemently rejected," Tarar asserted.

The minister emphasized that Pakistan had proposed an "open-hearted, credible, transparent and independent" investigation conducted by a neutral commission of experts to clarify the events surrounding the Pahalgam incident.

Despite this, he remarked that India had chosen "irrationality and confrontation" over a rational inquiry.

Tarar warned that any military adventurism from India would be "assuredly and decisively" met with a strong response and urged the international community to recognize that any escalation in tensions would be India's responsibility.

He reiterated Pakistan's commitment to defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs.

The situation between the two South Asian nations has deteriorated following a deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam earlier this month, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least 25 individuals, according to Indian media outlets.

India has accused Pakistan of being involved in the attack, a claim that Islamabad has firmly rejected.
