In collaboration with 156 medical institutions from Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia, PUMCH signed an agreement for the "Internet+Medical Alliance" medical assistance initiative.
This agreement signifies the official launch of a regional initiative aimed at sharing medical resources. By utilizing digital technology, the partnership seeks to dismantle regional barriers in healthcare, representing a significant advancement in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy within the medical sector and supporting the Healthy China initiative.
The Hebei provincial government's Beijing office played a crucial role as a facilitator, connecting the platform and assisting 20 Hebei hospitals in signing the agreement during the ceremony.
An official from the office remarked that this cooperative agreement is a key step towards implementing the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy. It aims to improve grassroots healthcare services in Hebei by bringing high-quality medical resources from Beijing, enabling residents to access advanced medical care in their local areas.
Collaboration is essential for advancing medical reform and facilitating the flow of high-quality medical resources. The "Internet+Medical Alliance" model will incorporate remote consultations, online training, and case discussions to enhance the diagnostic and treatment capabilities of grassroots healthcare institutions, furthering the implementation of a tiered diagnosis and treatment system. This approach will minimize redundant testing and reduce medical costs for patients while increasing the efficiency of healthcare resource utilization.
