Fortune 500 Companies Prepare for CIIE
Up to 15 Fortune Global 500 companies are eager to display their innovative technologies and broaden their market presence by taking part in the Trade in Services exhibition at the forthcoming 7th China International Import Expo.
Spanning an area of 30,000 square meters, the Trade in Services exhibition area will feature established participants like the Big Four global accounting firms, along with newcomers such as the multinational Swire Group.
The exhibition carries the theme "Green and Low-carbon Development, Stable and Strong Chains, and Digital and Smart Future," presenting a wide array of exhibits including supply chain services, consulting, and financial services. The goal is to deliver digital, integrated, and low-carbon management solutions for the global supply chain, fostering a collaborative and environmentally-friendly transformation of the industrial sector.
Companies like DB Schenker, a division of the German rail operator, and Dun & Bradstreet, a U.S.-based commercial data and analytics firm, are set to present new business opportunities at the expo with their advanced services.
Visitors to DB Schenker's booth will be able to explore the company's comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions, which include air, sea, rail, and contract logistics.
In light of the digital transformation and upgrading within the logistics and supply chain industry, these solutions are designed to assist in establishing a collaborative, efficient, green, and low-carbon future for China's logistics market, thereby supporting sectors such as automotive, consumer retail, and aerospace.
Dun & Bradstreet will introduce ChatD&B, the first global generative AI assistant, at the expo. This assistant offers instantaneous and actionable business insights regarding companies and enterprises.
By utilizing this AI tool, users can swiftly obtain relevant information about business entities through natural language conversations, which aids businesses in making informed decisions across various areas, including customer engagement.
Additionally, global air service provider Cathay Pacific Airways plans to unveil its newly released cabin products in the mainland market for the first time during the expo.
The launch of these advanced services and AI solutions emphasizes the expo's role as a significant draw for foreign companies and investments.
Zhou Xing, head of public affairs at PWC China, remarked that PWC is "punching the clock" at the expo. He pointed out that the company has seen fruitful outcomes after participating in the event for six consecutive years and intends to continue acting as a bridge for professional services, promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises across diverse fields as they gear up for their seventh participation.
New exhibitor Jacqueline Jiang, chair of John Swire & Sons, expressed hopes to better communicate China's quality development opportunities and explore new avenues for growth through the CIIE, which emphasizes openness, exchange, cooperation, and mutual benefit.
Scheduled for November 5 to 10, the 7th CIIE has attracted participants from 152 countries, regions, and international organizations, setting a new record with 297 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders expected to attend.
