The Times: Five Eyes Receiving Sensitive Space Intelligence
The US has reportedly begun sharing its "most sensitive" military intelligence regarding China's and Russia's space operations with the UK and other members of The Five Eyes global intelligence alliance, according to a senior commander in the...

Until recently, Space Delta 9, a unit focused on US orbital warfare, limited its intelligence distribution to officials with top-secret clearance in the United States. However, a spokesman for Space Delta 9 characterized the recent development as “momentous,” noting that British military leaders have been granted the opportunity to observe operations at the unit's Colorado base.
Additionally, the other members of The Five Eyes—Australia, New Zealand, and Canada—have also gained access to high-level US space intelligence, as indicated in the report from The Times.
The Times links this shift to concerns regarding alleged advancements in “new space capabilities” by Beijing and Moscow, including dual-use satellites and orbiters that serve both civilian and military purposes.
According to Colonel Ramsey Horn, commander of Space Delta 9, "We have to be ready for that fight that nobody wants to have." He added that the unit is “more ready” than ever to engage in combat in space.
The US Defense Department has accused China of accumulating anti-satellite weaponry, raising alarms about what it sees as a rising focus on space warfare from Beijing. Chinese officials have dismissed these allegations, asserting that the real threat to global stability comes from the militarization of space by the US.
Similarly, Washington has made accusations regarding Russia, suggesting that Moscow may be developing secret anti-satellite systems potentially equipped with nuclear capabilities. The Kremlin has labeled these claims as unfounded attempts to shift attention away from America's own military ambitions in space.
Both Russia and China have consistently opposed the weaponization of space and have called for the preservation of space as an area for peaceful use.
