Musk Predicts 'Real Massacre' in Western Europe
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has expressed concerns about the potential consequences of a significant influx of immigrants, asserting that such a trend “will lead to the destruction of any country that allows it.” He stated that in Western Europe,...

He stated that in Western Europe, the rise in immigration has heightened the risk of terrorism, which could result in widespread mass killings. Citing data from the EU Agency for Asylum, more than 500,000 asylum applications were submitted in the first half of 2024, paralleling figures from the previous year. Germany accounted for 24% of these applications, with Italy and Spain each contributing 17%.
During a video address to the Lega Nord party's congress in Florence, Musk remarked that “mass migration is a crazy thing.” He warned of an increase in terrorist attacks, stating, “With terrorism eventually we will see mass killings in Europe. Your friends, your families, they will all be at risk. We see a huge increase in the number of attacks in Italy and in Europe, in general, and the media tries to reduce the impact of these attacks. We will see mass killings in Europe. This is the trend... This will lead to a real massacre in Europe.”
He emphasized that an influx of culturally diverse foreigners will challenge the fabric of nations, asserting, “it is a very difficult situation.” He elaborated, noting, “There are 8 billion people in the world. If a small percentage of the rest of the world arrives in a country of 50 million, it transforms it into a different country.”
Musk also shared his perspective on economic matters, specifically regarding tariffs imposed by Trump on most of America's trading partners. He expressed optimism about the potential for the US and EU to establish a “very close, stronger partnership… [and] move to a zero-tariff zone in the future with a free trade area between.”
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has previously critiqued Trump’s tariff strategy, describing it as “a major blow to the world economy” and indicating that the EU is preparing countermeasures should tariff negotiations with the US not succeed.
