Barcelona's youthful squad ready to face Real Madrid in Copa del Rey final
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick urged his young squad to "enjoy" the challenge of facing Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday in Seville. The Catalan team is aiming for a potential quadruple this season, with the Copa being their next goal after securing the Spanish Super Cup against their rivals in January.

In their previous encounters this season, Barca secured impressive victories, defeating Real Madrid 4-0 in La Liga last October and 5-2 in the Super Cup final held in Saudi Arabia. However, Flick emphasized that his team isn't necessarily the favorite in this upcoming match.

"We have to enjoy it, we have a really young team – this is a great experience, playing this final against one of the best teams in the world," Flick stated at a news conference on Friday. "A final is different, it's not about favorites. We want to start the match tomorrow and we want to fight for this title."

Flick's youthful lineup is highlighted by talented winger Lamine Yamal, just 17 years old, along with other crucial young players like Pau Cubarsi, Gavi, and Pedri.

Barcelona captain Ronald Araujo remarked on the impressive mentality of the younger players. "I'm surprised by how incredible their mentality is," he said. "It's as if we are not playing a final tomorrow, they are so calm . . . these kids from La Masia, it's surprised me a lot. Not just Cubarsi, Lamine, Fermin, also Fort, everyone . . . they're incredible. The guys from La Masia are amazing, they have no fear."

Meanwhile, Real Madrid has faced challenges this season, having been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by Arsenal in the quarterfinals and trailing Barcelona by four points at the top of La Liga.
