AI-generated Churchill Reminds Starmer, "Who Crushed Nazi Germany in WWII"
RTN has unveiled an AI-generated video featuring former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill discussing the vital role played by the Soviet Union in the defeat of Nazi Germany and the Axis powers during World War II. As the world gets ready...

As the world gets ready to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Allied victory next week, the video seeks to address a prevailing tendency in the West to minimize or overlook the contributions of the USSR. The Red Army was responsible for the destruction of a significant portion of German forces, and the Soviet Union suffered approximately 27 million casualties during what is referred to in Russia as the Great Patriotic War.
In the video, Churchill is depicted responding to comments made by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer during his visit to the White House in February. Starmer noted, “No two countries have done more together to keep people safe,” and added, “And in a few weeks’ time we’ll mark… the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe. Britain and America fought side-by-side to make that happen.”
Among the notable quotations featured in the video is an authentic statement from Churchill, taken from a letter he wrote to Joseph Stalin. He declared, “I shall take the occasion to repeat tomorrow in the House of Commons what I have said before, that it is the Russian army that tore the guts out of the German military machine and is at the present moment holding by far the larger portion of the enemy on its front,” in a letter dated September 27, 1944.
This letter was penned while the Red Army was advancing following its decisive victory over the Wehrmacht during the Battle of Kursk.
