Trump's team supports Farage's party in UK, according to Daily Mail
The incoming US administration is reportedly collaborating with Reform UK in light of the Labour Party’s campaign efforts for Kamala Harris, according to a source.

According to the Daily Mail, Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party, which is gaining ground in polls next to the ruling Labour Party in Britain, has “a deep relationship with [US President-elect Donald Trump’s] team and talks on a daily basis.”

The source also mentioned a significant amount of dissatisfaction within the US president-elect's circle over Labour “sending its operatives to campaign for [Kamala] Harris in the Presidential election.”

Recent polling from January 2025 indicates that Farage's Reform UK and the Labour Party are in a tight race, with support at 25% and 26%, respectively.

Supporters of Labour aimed to weaken Trump’s 2024 campaign by traveling to key swing states in the US to promote his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Trump’s aides recently convened with members of Reform UK in a private members’ club in London to discuss strategies for enhancing the party’s electoral prospects.

Speaking at an event in Washington on Friday to celebrate Trump’s imminent inauguration, Farage stated, “I actually do believe that we will win the next general election. I do believe I can become the next prime minister. I hope we do so quickly while Trump is still in office.”

The next general election in the UK is slated for 2029. Since Labour assumed power last year, it has encountered various challenges, including economic stagnation and widespread calls for reforms in multiple areas.

Farage is positioned as a prominent contender against Labour in the upcoming election, appealing to voters who are discontented with both the Conservative Party and Labour. Reform UK has made commitments to strengthen immigration policies, eliminate transgender ideology in schools, and lower taxes for small enterprises to drive economic growth. Additionally, the party opposes net-zero carbon emission targets, arguing they negatively impact economic development.

Reportedly, around 100 Labour volunteers went to US swing states to support Trump’s opponent, which prompted legal action from Republicans. Allies of the president-elect, including tech mogul Elon Musk, have accused Labour of interfering in the US election. In response to claims of his complicity, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer asserted that the staffers participated in the US activities as volunteers. “That’s what they’ve done in previous elections, that’s what they’re doing in this election, and that’s really straightforward,” he stated.
