Trump Seeks to Include Musk in US Government Administration
The Republican presidential nominee has expressed his willingness to consider tech mogul Elon Musk for an advisory position if he wins the upcoming election. He praised Musk as a "very smart guy."

Donald Trump suggested that Elon Musk might join his administration as an adviser if he is elected in the forthcoming November 5 presidential election.

Following a recent assassination attempt on Trump, Musk publicly backed the Republican candidate by stating on X (formerly Twitter), “I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery.”

Musk has been a vocal critic of the current Democratic administration under President Joe Biden.

In a Reuters interview conducted on Monday, when queried about potentially assigning Musk an advisory or cabinet role, Trump stated, “He’s very smart guy. I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would. He’s a brilliant guy.”

Last week, Musk conducted a live interview with the former president on his X platform.

In mid-July, there were claims by the Wall Street Journal that Musk intended to contribute approximately $45 million a month to a new super political action committee supporting Trump’s campaign. However, Musk labeled the WSJ’s allegations as "fake news."

This new super PAC, named America PAC, was established in June and comprises various wealthy entrepreneurs. It primarily aims to register voters and encourage early voting.
