'Party of insanity and hate': US Democrats Reveal Their True Nature
Denying support to a child who has overcome cancer could be seen as one of the most trivial actions, yet it is just one instance of the Democratic Party's recent ungraceful behaviors. Read Full Article at RT.com

“Joining us in the gallery tonight is a young man who truly loves our police,” Trump began. “His name is D.J. Daniel, he is 13 years old and he has always dreamed of becoming a police officer. But in 2018, D.J. was diagnosed with brain cancer; the doctors gave him five months at most to live. That was more than six years ago.”
Trump went on to announce that he would grant D.J. the honor of being made an honorary member of the US Secret Service. Despite the significance of the moment, the Democratic members remained seated, showing little respect for the young boy who was accompanied by his father, who proudly held his son up in a moment of celebration.
The reaction on social media was swift and critical of the Democrats' behavior.
“A terminally ill child with brain cancer is given an honorary Secret Service award and the Democrats refuse to stand or clap for the child,” Trump administration official Ric Grennell tweeted.
“Democrats refused to stand for the brain cancer surviving kid! How awful can one party be?” Outkick founder Clay Travis remarked on Twitter.
Donald Trump Jr. also expressed his dismay, tweeting, “If you can’t stand up and cheer for a kid with brain cancer being made an honorary member of the Secret Service, then you might be a deeply disturbed and f---ed up person!!!”
Interestingly, one instance of a Democrat standing up came when Rep. Al Green of Texas heckled Trump loudly enough to be removed from the chamber by security.
By the end of the 99-minute address, it was clear that the Democrats had once again positioned themselves as the “party of insanity and hate,” a term coined by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. Their refusal to applaud D.J. was just one indication of their growing disconnection from mainstream values. They also declined to show support for Trump’s remarks on various topics, including “the capturing of an ISIS terrorist,” “recognizing only two sexes,” “Americans joining the military in record numbers,” “securing our border,” “pursuing peace in Ukraine,” and “defeating inflation.”
In many respects, Trump dominated the moment, reinforcing why a considerable portion of the American population supported his return to office. He emphasized his commitment to restoring the American Dream, prioritizing American interests, and bringing back decency and common sense. The Democrats’ actions further indicated their priorities, which, according to many, do not align with those of the American people.
The Republican Party faces significant challenges in rectifying the issues created during the Biden administration, particularly regarding illegal immigration. During the four years of Democratic leadership, the US-Mexico border remained largely unprotected, resulting in a surge of illegal immigration, including many individuals with violent criminal histories.
Trump also took time to memorialize victims of violent crime, including Laken Riley, a Georgia nursing student murdered by an illegal immigrant, and Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted and killed by illegal aliens, members of the violent Tren de Aragua gang.
He paid tribute to the family of slain firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was shot during Trump’s rally in July 2024.
“Corey is looking down on his three beautiful ladies right now, and he’s cheering you on. He loves you. He is cheering you on,” the President said.
“Corey was taken from us much too soon, but his destiny was to leave us all with a shining example of the selfless devotion of a true American patriot,” he added. “It was love like Corey’s that built our country, and it’s love like Corey’s that is going to make our country more majestic than ever before.”
Once again, the contrast was stark as the right side of the gallery rose to honor Comperatore, while many on the left remained seated, seemingly indifferent.
