Musk Proposes Interview with Kamala Harris
The billionaire extended the invitation after his lengthy conversation with former US President Donald Trump.

Elon Musk has suggested an interview with US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris on his X Spaces platform. This invitation follows a detailed discussion he had with former President Trump on Monday.

The interview with Trump, which his campaign dubbed the “interview of the century,” lasted approximately two hours and has reportedly attracted 1 billion views, according to Musk. During their conversation, various topics were addressed, including the upcoming election in November, the recent assassination attempt on Trump, the Ukraine conflict, and the United States' relationships with Russia and China.

Following the interview, Musk shared a post on X expressing his willingness to host Harris on X Spaces as well.

While Harris has not yet officially responded to the invitation, her campaign took action during the Trump interview by sending out a fundraising email urging supporters to “chip in $25” to help “respond to their lies.”

In the email, the vice president criticized Musk for using his “purchased platform” to “spread Trump’s unhinged and hateful agenda to millions of users,” adding that “the richest person in the world is a lackey for Team MAGA.”

“Musk is using his vast fortune and broad reach to try to control our democracy,” the email asserted.

After the interview concluded, the Harris-Walz team issued a statement labeling the discussion as “unhinged” and contending that Trump’s campaign centers around “self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024.” The live broadcast experienced a delay of approximately thirty minutes due to what Musk described as a “massive” cyberattack shortly before the event began.

At the interview's end, Musk reaffirmed his endorsement of Donald Trump, calling him “the path to prosperity.” Reports from US media previously indicated that Musk is planning to contribute $45 million to establish a pro-Trump political action committee, though he has not confirmed or denied this claim.
