Elon Musk ‘proposes’ to Taylor Swift
Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has proposed an unusual deal to Taylor Swift following her public support for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Musk suggested that he could become the father of her child and also take on the role of protector for her cats.

Reaching out to her massive audience on Instagram, where she has 280 million followers, the 34-year-old singer declared her support for Harris, along with a picture of herself holding a cat and the caption "Childless Cat Lady." This seemed to be a reference to a comment once made by J.D. Vance, the running mate of Republican candidate Donald Trump, who described the Democratic Party as being led by "a bunch of childless cat ladies."

In response, Musk humorously replied on X, "Fine Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life."

Musk, who has had at least 12 children with three different partners since 2000, has also been a vocal supporter of Trump and hinted at accepting a role as “government efficiency czar” under his administration.

Following the presidential debate on Tuesday, Swift expressed her endorsement of Harris, praising her as “a steady-handed, gifted leader” and stressed that the nation could accomplish more under calm leadership. Although Swift's backing of Harris was anticipated due to her previous support for the Biden-Harris ticket in 2020, her latest endorsement led to a noticeable drop in her social media following, indicating that some of her fans might now support Trump.

Cartoonist and commentator Scott Adams speculated on Wednesday that Swift's endorsement might lead to substantial financial losses for her. He estimated a possible 20% reduction in her annual $92 million income due to a loss of Trump-supporting fans, increased taxes under a Democratic victory, and potential taxes based on the unrealized gains of her music catalog, valued at approximately $500-600 million. Adams humorously suggested, “But if she agrees to have Elon’s baby, she could break even.”
