A Chinese robotics company, Unitree, has announced an advanced humanoid robot capable of “learning and performing virtually any movement.”
In a recently released video, the company showcased its robot executing kung fu maneuvers. According to Unitree, the enhanced balance and range of motion mark significant improvements in the robot's performance.
Humanoid robots are designed to mimic human characteristics, including facial expressions, movements, and speech.
The video, shared by the Hangzhou-based company earlier this week, features the human-like robot strolling down a street while delivering various martial arts strikes and kicking techniques. Unitree noted that with the latest algorithm upgrade, its G1 humanoid robot can “learn and perform virtually any movement.”
