Although Washington has not formally acknowledged this permission, the Russian Defense Ministry claims that Ukraine has already deployed the US-supplied missiles against the Bryansk Region in Russia. Additionally, Biden's recent choice to provide Ukraine with anti-personnel landmines breaks his 2022 commitment to limit their use.
Flynn stated in a post on X, “The current House of Representatives must impeach Biden for endangering the United States,” asserting that his former boss faced impeachment for far less. He urged, “Harris should immediately invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Biden – he’s sleepwalking us into WWIII. Let’s at least put constitutional pressure on Harris because Joe’s poor memory makes him unaccountable.”
In addition, allies of President-elect Donald Trump, such as former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, who is being considered for the role of US Attorney General, should not remain silent. Flynn emphasized that they ought to disclose “the identities of the deep state operatives pulling the strings of the presidency, urging Biden to act recklessly.”
He further argued that “incoming US officials must make contact with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to deescalate the situation,” referencing his own past discussions with a former Russian ambassador. He remarked, “Different circumstance but same outcome – deescalation.”
Flynn, appointed as an advisor by Trump in January 2017, was compelled to resign less than a month later due to accusations of misleading officials about his conversation with Sergey Kislyak, who served as the Russian ambassador to the US. This incident became a part of wider allegations concerning collusion between the Trump campaign and Moscow, claims that Trump vehemently denied, describing them as a “witch hunt.”
In 2017, Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI regarding his call with Kislyak, only to later retract his plea, alleging that the government had attempted to frame him. The Justice Department dismissed the charges against him in 2020, and Trump subsequently granted him a pardon later that year.
