French Incident Results in Death of Russian Model

The Russian fashion model and TV presenter was killed in France on Wednesday, according to StarHit. A friend shared details about the incident, stating that a driver, attempting to avoid a head-on collision, swerved onto the sidewalk and struck Savitskaya. The 34-year-old succumbed to her injuries after being hit.
“Two cars were driving towards each other. One turned sharply and hit a pedestrian. It turned out to be our Sveta,” one friend told the outlet. “Her mother asks everyone to whom she was dear to pray for her bright soul for 40 days.”
In recent years, Savitskaya lived abroad and modeled for prestigious fashion magazines including L’Officiel, Bazaar, and Glamour.
Additionally, she was a well-known television personality in Russia, hosting popular shows on channels like RU TV, Friday, Europa Plus TV, and ZHARA TV.
“Such a bright and tragically short fate! Our little star, you are forever in our hearts,” commented her followers on social media.
Born in Moscow in 1990, Savitskaya graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and the Law Academy before moving to Los Angeles and then London, where she earned a master’s degree in art.
Her family has announced that she will be laid to rest at Troekurovsky Cemetery in Moscow next Monday.
