He highlighted the current critical crossroads humanity faces, stating: "We should firm up confidence, uphold solidarity and cooperation, and forge ahead hand in hand, despite high winds and choppy waters, to build a community with a shared future for mankind. We should provide more stability and certainty for the world, and build a just world of common development."
**Four Recommendations for Globalization**
The Vice Premier proposed four essential recommendations. First, he urged the international community to promote economic globalization that benefits all, seeking mutually beneficial solutions through communication and coordination. "We should not only make the pie of economic globalization bigger, but also distribute it better," he emphasized.
He also stressed the importance of upholding true multilateralism, maintaining the UN-centered international system, and pursuing global governance characterized by extensive consultation and joint contributions for mutual benefit. This includes ensuring equal rights, opportunities, and rules for all nations in international matters, fostering an open, inclusive, and non-discriminatory environment for economic cooperation.
Ding further asserted that the international community should work together to develop new drivers for global economic growth, enhance digital connectivity, and promote international cooperation in scientific and technological innovation. He underscored the need to leverage scientific and technological advancements for the benefit of all humanity so that more countries can join the fast-paced digital economic development.
Lastly, he called for collective action to address major global challenges, like climate change and food and energy security, while working together to promote the China-proposed Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative, thereby gathering strength to overcome various difficulties.

Ding provided insights on key trends influencing China's economy. He stated that high-quality development is progressing significantly, with a clear shift from traditional growth drivers to emerging sectors, alongside a rapid formation of new productive forces.
He mentioned that this year, China will intensify macroeconomic policies, implementing a more proactive fiscal approach and a suitably accommodative monetary policy to achieve higher-quality growth and elevate economic output.
The second trend is the accelerated green and low-carbon transition. Ding pointed out that China has established the world's largest and most comprehensive new energy industrial chain. "No matter how the international landscape may evolve, China's determination and action for proactive climate response will not change," he declared. "We will make tireless efforts to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate pollution while expanding green transition and promoting economic growth."
The third trend highlighted was the advancement of reform and opening up to a higher level. "We will build a high-standard socialist market economy, foster a fairer and more dynamic market environment, and make resource allocation as efficient and productive as possible," he affirmed, adding that China's doors to openness will not only remain open but expand further, enhancing the business environment in the country.
