Quan topped the qualifications and continued to perform well in the final, leading Chen by 2.7 points after the initial two rounds.
In the third round, Chen and Quan chose different technical dives. The 19-year-old Chen executed a remarkable 626C dive, earning a score of 89.10 points. In contrast, Quan opted for the 6243D dive but encountered some difficulties during her entry, receiving a score of 75.20 points. After three rounds, Chen had overtaken Quan to take the lead, with both divers significantly ahead of the third-place competitor.
Chen maintained her lead with a score of 84.15 points in the fourth round, pushing her advantage to double digits over Quan.
For her final attempt, Chen performed the 5253B dive and scored 76.80 points, finishing with a total of 419.35 points. Quan also had a strong finish, scoring 88.00 points, but her total of 414.40 points fell short for first place. Chen clinched her 15th World Cup title, while Britain's Andrea Spendolini Sirieix secured third place with 337.70 points.
In the men's 10-meter synchronized final, China's Zhu Zifeng and Cheng Zilong triumphed over Mexico's Randal Willars Valdez and Kevin Berlin Reyes to claim gold. Zhu and Cheng began strongly, registering 102.60 points after the first two rounds.
Although the Chinese pair faced a setback in the third round, falling behind the Mexican team, they regained their composure and scored 90.78 points to reclaim the lead in the fourth round.
They finished the sixth round with a score of 87.48 points, securing the gold medal with a total of 449.49 points and defeating the Mexican duo by 14.04 points. Ruslan Ternovoi and Nikita Shleikher took third place.
