Biden Comments on Trump-Harris Debate
The former President of the United States has criticized the Democratic Party for harshly dismissing their leader, remarking that they ousted him “out of the campaign like a dog.”

US President Joe Biden has heralded Vice President Kamala Harris's definitive victory in her debate against the Republican contender, Donald Trump. Biden declared his satisfaction at having collaborated with Harris for over three years.

After a poor showing in June, Biden withdrew from the race, subsequently supporting Harris from a distance. During her debate with Trump, he monitored the proceedings from a New York City hotel accompanied by family and staff, a CNN source reported.

“America got to see tonight the leader I’ve been proud to work alongside for three and a half years. It wasn’t even close. VP Harris proved she’s the best choice to lead our nation forward. We’re not going back,” Biden shared on his X account after the debate.

In the debate, Trump criticized Harris's superior, portraying him as a national embarrassment. He questioned Biden's respectability and competence, suggesting the stakes involved potential global conflict. "They respect me; they don't respect Biden. Why would you respect him, for what reason?” Trump asked. “We are playing with WWIII, and we have a president that... Where is our president?”

Harris, in response, emphasized that Trump was currently competing against her, not Joe Biden. Despite this, Trump continued to link Harris closely with Biden, suggesting her presidency would simply be an extension of Biden's tenure.

“Remember this: She is Biden,” Trump stated during the debate. “She copied Biden's plan. It's like four sentences long: 'Run, Spot, Run' – just oh, we'll try to lower taxes… She doesn't have a plan.”

Towards the end of the debate, Trump critiqued Harris’s actions and promises.

“She just started by saying she’s gonna do this, she’s gonna do that, she’s gonna do all these wonderful things… Why hasn’t she done it? She’s been there for three and a half years,” he remarked.

“What these people have done to our country… they’re destroying our country. The worst president, the worst vice president in the history of our country,” Trump concluded.
