Conservative author Ashley St. Clair claims that tech entrepreneur Elon Musk is the father of her five-month-old child. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, who has 12 known children from previous relationships, has not publicly responded to St. Clair's assertion.
In her post on X on Friday, St. Clair mentioned that she maintained the birth's privacy to ensure their child's safety but felt compelled to share the news due to anticipated tabloid coverage. She urged the media to respect their child's privacy and avoid intrusive reporting.
There is no public information regarding how Musk and St. Clair initially met, but they have interacted publicly on X. In November 2023, St. Clair revealed that she had stopped using birth control to enhance her mental health, prompting Musk to respond, “for sure.”
Last July, Musk sent her birthday wishes, to which she replied with heart emojis. He then returned the sentiment by offering a list of book recommendations and stating, “this is the absolute best time in history to have kids!”
St. Clair, 26, is recognized for her conservative children's book “Elephants Are Not Birds,” which confronts gender identity concepts and serves as an “unapologetic rebuke of transgender acceptance.” Furthermore, she has collaborated with The Babylon Bee, a right-wing satirical news site known for parody articles on politics and culture.
She has also made several appearances on Fox News, podcasts, and web shows discussing various topics, including the decline in birth rates in affluent countries.
Musk's family includes six children from his marriage to Canadian author Justine Wilson: twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Their first child, Nevada, sadly passed away at 10 weeks old.
Additionally, Musk has three children with musician Claire Boucher, known as Grimes: sons X Æ A-Xii and Techno Mechanicus, along with daughter Exa Dark Sideræl.
He also shares twins Strider and Azure with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink. These twins were born shortly before Musk's second child with Boucher was delivered via surrogate. According to a June Bloomberg report, Zilis has welcomed their third baby.
Musk has previously voiced concerns regarding declining birth rates and has advocated for larger families, labeling the declining birth rate as “the biggest threat faced by humanity.”
