Nanjing Monkey Kings fall to Beijing Ducks, who ascend to third place in CBA standings
The Beijing Ducks emerged victorious against the Nanjing Monkey Kings, propelling themselves to the top position in the CBA standings.

Right from the start, Kendric Davis and Tacko Fall displayed aggressive offense, attacking the paint. Meanwhile, Nanjing, with Zhao Boqing hitting several three-pointers, managed to maintain a lead of around five points for much of the game. A three-pointer by Chen Ying-Chun at the quarter's end brought Beijing closer, with the score at 28-25.
In the second quarter, Chen was supported by Eugene German and Fang Shuo, who also contributed from beyond the arc. Their shooting prowess helped Beijing surge ahead to a 51-48 lead with less than two minutes remaining in the half. Nuni Omot contributed four more points for Beijing as they concluded the quarter ahead, 55-52.
In the third quarter, Davis continued his high-scoring performance, while other players like German, Zhou Qi, and Zeng Fanbo also made significant contributions. By the end of the third, Beijing maintained a slim lead of 84-81.
Davis recorded a game-high 41 points in the fourth quarter along with nine assists. However, with under three minutes to go, he was hit in the face and had to leave for medical attention while the game was tied at 95-95. Zhou and German stepped up, adding six points for Beijing. Although Zhu sank a three-pointer for Nanjing, it was too late to shift the outcome.
In a separate matchup that night, the Tianjin Pioneers triumphed over the Ningbo Rockets with a score of 111-104 on the road.
