Musk Calls German Chancellor 'Oaf Schitz'
**Elon Musk Predicts Olaf Scholz's Defeat in Upcoming Snap Elections**

Elon Musk has forecast that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, whom he mockingly called “Oaf Schitz,” alongside his Social Democratic Party, is likely to lose the upcoming parliamentary elections in Germany.

These snap elections are set for the end of February, following the collapse of Scholz's 'traffic light' coalition government due to disputes over issues such as aid to Ukraine, economic reforms, and climate policy. Earlier this month, Scholz's leadership faced a vote of confidence in parliament, which resulted in the government’s dissolution.

Statistics indicate that 56% of Germans believe Scholz has performed poorly, while 37% expressed satisfaction with his tenure. This sentiment is largely attributed to Germany's economic stagnation, his migration policies, and a widespread perception of ineffective governance.

On Monday, Musk, a vocal critic of the current German administration, commented, “Chancellor Oaf Schitz or whatever his name is will lose.”

He also speculated that the right-wing, anti-immigration party, Alternative for Germany, which he had previously referred to as the nation's “last spark of hope,” would achieve an “epic victory” in the elections.

Musk’s remarks have drawn criticism from German officials, who labeled his comments “intrusive and arrogant,” suggesting they represent unwelcome interference in domestic affairs. Chancellor Scholz emphasized that the country's future “will not be decided by the owners of social media channels” but by the “vast majority of reasonable and decent people.”

These comments from the billionaire come in the wake of a terrorist attack at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, where a car struck a crowd, resulting in five fatalities and nearly 200 injuries. This incident, linked to a Saudi asylum seeker, has fueled criticism of Scholz's administration, with opposition parties and far-right groups pointing to lenient migration policies ahead of the critical elections.
