Wealthy Gather at Trump’s Property – Bloomberg
In the weeks leading up to his inauguration, Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida, has become a hotspot for some of the world's wealthiest individuals, who have been meeting with the president-elect, according to a Bloomberg report.

The agency noted that six of the ten richest people globally have traveled to Florida since Trump’s election in November. Bloomberg referred to the president-elect’s private Palm Beach club as “a new center of power.”

Among the notable visitors is Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Meta Platforms Inc., whose jet arrived at Palm Beach International Airport on November 26 and departed the next day. Meta has confirmed that Zuckerberg “was grateful for the invitation” to dinner and the opportunity to meet Trump’s team.

Following the January 2021 Capitol riot, Trump faced a temporary ban from Meta platforms. After Zuckerberg's visit, the company declared plans to eliminate fact-checkers from its platforms, a move interpreted as a response to Trump’s criticisms.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos also met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago in December after his plane was recorded in Florida. Reports indicate that Amazon has since pledged $1 million for Trump’s inauguration and agreed to fund a $40 million documentary on Melania Trump.

Bill Gates, the former CEO of Microsoft, arrived at Palm Beach International Airport in late December. Gates, who had previously backed Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign, acknowledged the meeting, stating he had a three-hour dinner with Trump.

Elon Musk, owner of X and a close ally of Trump, has frequently visited Mar-a-Lago. JetSpy data reveals that Musk’s aircraft have made over a dozen trips to Palm Beach since Election Day, with a total of three weeks spent in the area.

Additionally, planes owned by other billionaires such as Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Oracle’s Larry Ellison, Uber’s Travis Kalanick, and Australian mining tycoon Gina Rinehart have also made recent trips to Palm Beach International Airport. Other high-profile attendees include Howard Lutnick, whom Trump selected as his commerce secretary, biotech entrepreneur Patrick Soon-Shiong, cryptocurrency moguls the Winklevoss twins, and casino magnate Tilman Fertitta.

Trump’s inauguration, set for January 20, is expected to draw numerous billionaires, including Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Apple’s Tim Cook, Uber’s Dara Khosrowshahi, and OpenAI’s Sam Altman. Many of these tech leaders and companies have made significant contributions to Trump’s inaugural fund, as reported by Time magazine.
