Barcelona Stage Comeback to Secure 4-3 Victory Over Celta Vigo in La Liga
La Liga leaders Barcelona mounted a remarkable comeback from 3-1 down to defeat Celta Vigo 4-3 in a thrilling match on Saturday, with a stoppage-time penalty by Raphinha increasing their advantage over Real Madrid at the top of the standings...

The score was tied at 3-3 after Celta's Borja Iglesias completed a hat-trick, and it seemed the match was destined for a draw when Dani Olmo won a penalty deep into added time. Raphinha stepped up to convert it and secure all three points.
This result places additional pressure on Real Madrid, who are set to face fourth-placed Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, while Celta Vigo remains in seventh place with 43 points.
"This is football. We wanted to win this game but we weren't always at our best. But the team came through in the end and the crowd pushed us on right to the finish," said Barcelona substitute and goalscorer Dani Olmo in an interview with DAZN. "It's three points towards our objective but we have to keep going."
Barcelona initially took the lead when Ferran Torres received the ball in midfield and dribbled toward goal, unleashing a shot from the edge of the box that found the back of the net, marking his 10th league goal of the season.
Celta quickly responded, with Pablo Duran delivering an excellent cross from the wing. Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny rushed off his line but misjudged the ball, allowing Iglesias to tap in from close range into an empty net.
Barcelona fell behind just seven minutes into the second half due to an error from Frenkie de Jong, who completely missed a long ball, enabling Iglesias to break free and score his second goal past Szczesny.
As Barcelona pressed to find an equalizer, a clearance from Celta enabled Iglesias to exploit the home side's high defensive line, sprinting through on goal to beat Szczesny for his hat-trick.
Stunned, Barcelona sought to recover quickly and pulled one back in the 64th minute. Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha linked up to set up Olmo, who scored just five minutes after coming onto the field.
"He told me we needed to play a little calmer. We just needed to connect with each other better," Olmo noted.
Just four minutes later, Barcelona equalized at 3-3 when Lamine Yamal delivered a cross into the six-yard box, allowing Raphinha to leap above the defense and head the ball home.
A beleaguered Celta tried to secure a draw, but Olmo earned a penalty after being fouled in the box, leading the referee to point to the spot after a video assistant referee check.
In the 98th minute, Raphinha stepped up to take the penalty, driving the ball into the top corner for his 30th goal across all competitions this season.
