Musk Scheming to Oust UK's Starmer - FT
Elon Musk is reportedly contemplating a campaign aimed at forcing the resignation of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, according to a Financial Times article published on Thursday. The newspaper cites sources who state that the Tesla CEO has had private discussions about his strategy with associates.

Musk, a billionaire with connections to President-elect Donald Trump, has made several public remarks that critics interpret as foreign political interference, particularly concerning the UK. He has characterized Starmer’s administration as a “tyrannical government,” suggesting that the US may need to “liberate the people” in Britain, a nation seen as a key ally.

According to the Financial Times, this rhetoric signals an underlying plan to diminish Starmer's popularity prior to the next general election. The paper notes that such an approach to effecting governmental change is feasible within the UK's political structure, referencing recent instances such as Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, who both resigned due to public pressure.

The report quotes anonymous informants who have been briefed on Musk’s perspective. One source mentioned that Musk believes “that western civilization itself is threatened.”

Musk has vocally criticized Starmer and other British figures over their alleged involvement in the coverup of a notorious 'grooming' scandal, where gangs, predominantly of Pakistani backgrounds, supposedly exploited white British girls over the span of two decades while authorities hesitated to act because of political correctness concerns.

Referring to Starmer’s previous role as director of public prosecutions in England and Wales, Musk stated, “Starmer is evil,” last week. He also labeled Jess Phillips, under-secretary for safeguarding women, as a “rape genocide apologist” after she declined to lead a public inquiry into child sexual exploitation in Oldham, England. British officials have accused Musk of disseminating “disinformation” regarding the scandal.

Sources for the Financial Times indicated that Musk intends to weaken the Labour Party's support by uplifting the right-leaning Reform UK party, possibly aiming for a leadership change within the party. Musk has recently commented that its leader, MP Nigel Farage, “doesn’t have what it takes” to lead effectively, while suggesting that British lawmaker Rupert Lowe might be a more suitable option.

Farage responded on LBC Radio on Wednesday, stating he has “no desire to go to war” with Musk, as he respects the entrepreneur’s advocacy for free speech.
