Jared Leto Brings a Pledge from Russia and Ukraine
Jared Leto, the frontman of Thirty Seconds to Mars, expressed his hopes of performing in Russia and Ukraine once the ongoing conflict between the two nations concludes.

While addressing the crowd at the Belgrade Arena during a concert in Serbia on Friday, Leto acknowledged his Russian fans by asking them to raise their hands. “I know we have people from all over the world here tonight. I thought I felt a little of that Russian energy. Did you miss us?” he inquired.

He further noted, “One day, when all these problems are finished, we’re gonna come visit you, in your homeland.” Leto added, “We’re gonna come back to Serbia. We’re gonna go to St. Petersburg, over to Moscow. We’re gonna drop down to Kiev. We are gonna party and hang out with everybody,” emphasizing that this is “the way it should be.”

The band is currently touring in support of their latest album, ‘It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day.’ Prior to the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022, Thirty Seconds to Mars had performed in Russia.

In a previous heartwarming moment in 2021, Leto participated in a video call with a terminally ill fan, Anastasia Petrova, who was then at a hospice in Moscow.
