A plane overturned while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, resulting in at least eight injuries, as reported by paramedics.
Flight operations were halted, according to the Toronto Star.
Footage shared on X depicts a Delta Air Lines aircraft flipped on a snow-covered tarmac, with individuals seen evacuating from it.
One person among the injured is reportedly in critical condition, as noted by Peel Regional Paramedic Services Supervisor Lawrence Saindon.

The airport confirmed an incident involving the Delta aircraft arriving from Minneapolis and stated that emergency teams were on the scene.
“All passengers and crew have been accounted for,” said the Toronto airport via a statement on X.
Delta representatives did not respond immediately to requests for comment, according to Reuters.
“There is a plane crash. However, we don't know the circumstances surrounding it at this point,” stated Constable Sarah Patten of the Peel Regional Police in Ontario.
She mentioned that “most of the passengers” were unharmed and had exited the plane, although police are continuing to investigate the situation.

This incident follows other aviation emergencies in North America that occurred in late January. An American Airlines passenger jet collided with an Army helicopter while landing at Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C., leading to the deaths of 67 individuals. Additionally, a medical transport plane crash in Philadelphia resulted in the deaths of seven people near a shopping mall.
