The 2025 Zhongguancun Forum is scheduled to take place in Beijing from March 27 to 31, with a focus on the theme "New Quality Productive Forces and Global Technological Cooperation," as announced during a press conference on Thursday.

This year's forum will encompass five main sections, consisting of 128 activities, which include forums and conferences, technology transactions, achievement releases, cutting-edge competitions, and various supporting events.

During the press conference, it was highlighted that the 2025 ZGC Forum will emphasize four key aspects:

1. Emphasis on technological frontiers: The forum will feature specialized events and significant achievement releases that center on advanced domains such as AI large models, embodied intelligence, quantum technology, biomedicine, 6G, and brain-computer interfaces. These discussions will focus on emerging technology trends and industrial development.

2. Focus on outcome sharing: The forum aims to promote collaboration through a technology transaction conference, advanced tech competitions, and major achievement releases. By connecting government, industry, academia, research, and finance, the platform seeks to expedite the industrialization of significant scientific breakthroughs and nurture new quality productive forces.

3. Talent exchange: Specialized events, including the Outstanding Young Scientists Development Forum, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum for Overseas Returnees, and the Women in Science and Technology Innovation Forum, will offer opportunities for the scientific community to network and stimulate innovation.

4. Open cooperation: The forum will host dialogues on intergovernmental science and technology cooperation, inviting international tech organizations, scientists, entrepreneurs, and investors to participate, thereby creating a platform for global innovation exchange and collaboration.

At the opening ceremony, noteworthy achievements from the ZGC Forum will be unveiled, including the introduction of the "Top 10 Advances in Chinese Science."

Since its establishment in 2007, with a permanent theme of "Innovation and Development," the ZGC Forum has successfully conducted 15 editions, featuring thousands of parallel forums and supporting events that have welcomed hundreds of thousands of participants.
