'Vietnam Begins Broadcasting "The Classic Quotes by Xi Jinping"'
The Vietnamese edition of "The Classic Quotes by Xi Jinping," a multilingual television program produced by China Media Group (CMG), was broadcast in Vietnam coinciding with Chinese President Xi Jinping's two-day state visit to the country that began on Monday.

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, CMG, along with Vietnam Television, hosted a cooperation ceremony on Monday. This event aims to establish a regular cooperation mechanism to enhance collaboration in areas such as content sharing, joint production, and personnel exchanges between the two broadcasters.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh extended his congratulations via a letter regarding the program's broadcast and the success of the ceremony. He highlighted that 2025 will be designated as the Vietnam-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges, urging the broadcasters to leverage this latest collaboration to further cultural exchanges and strengthen ties between the two nations while promoting the development of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future that bears strategic importance.
During the event, Shen Haixiong, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and president of CMG, expressed CMG's readiness to collaborate with various sectors in Vietnam to help build a China-Vietnam community with a shared future based on principles of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit, and inclusiveness. He emphasized a vision for creating a peaceful, secure, prosperous, and friendly environment.
Nguyen Thanh Lam, the president of Vietnam Television, acknowledged the significance of the event within the context of over three decades of collaboration between the two major media institutions. He added that this partnership plays a vital role in promoting and enhancing the traditional friendship and exchanges between the two countries.
Le Hai Binh, executive vice minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, remarked on the close ties between Vietnam and China as two friendly neighbors linked by natural and cultural connections. He expressed optimism that the collaboration between the two leading media institutions would continue to thrive and contribute effectively to strengthening the friendship between their peoples.
