IDF Declares Launch of Strikes on Iran
Israel has “fully mobilized” its offensive and defensive capabilities.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is carrying out “precise strikes on military targets” in Iran, as confirmed by IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari in a statement released early Saturday.

“In response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in Iran against the State of Israel – right now the Israel Defense Forces is conducting precise strikes on military targets in Iran,” the spokesman mentioned in a brief video announcement.

“We will do whatever necessary to defend the State of Israel and the people of Israel,” he added, noting that the Jewish state’s “defensive and offensive capabilities are fully mobilized.”

The extent of these strikes was not immediately clear, and there were no reports regarding the damage inflicted within the Islamic Republic. A resident from Tehran reported to AP that at least seven explosions were heard in the capital.

On October 1, Iran launched nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel as a reaction to the deaths of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders and an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps general.

Following these developments, Israel has issued threats of a “deadly, pinpoint accurate, and surprising” retaliation, without providing a specific timeline.

Tehran, in turn, has cautioned Israel against proceeding with any strikes, warning of a “decisive and regretful” response should such actions occur.
