Biden Displeased with Harris, Reports NBC News
According to a report by NBC News on Tuesday, US President Joe Biden is said to be struggling with being out of the public eye and feeling underappreciated for his contributions. Insiders revealed that Biden is particularly frustrated by the shift in national media focus towards Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

Following Biden's withdrawal from the race after a poor performance in a June debate against former president Donald Trump, Harris has reportedly distanced herself from him. The report highlights that Biden “was particularly stung” by a moment in her recent debate with Trump, where she stated: “Clearly, I am not Joe Biden, and I am certainly not Donald Trump. And what I do offer is a new generation of leadership for our country.” This comment was made in response to Trump suggesting that Harris shares similar policies with Biden. She has reiterated this sentiment in various media interviews.

A campaign official for Harris mentioned to NBC News that “There wasn’t a real interest in hearing about his [Biden’s] accomplishments when he was running. That’s still the case.”

Another source indicated that while the president “understands completely the general lack of mentioning ‘Bidenomics’ and ‘Joe Biden’” in the political landscape, he feels a sense of bitterness about being sidelined, despite his desire for Harris to succeed and his willingness to support her.

Before deciding to exit the race, Biden's campaign faced challenges in mitigating public perceptions of his occasional frailty and confusion, which many voters interpreted as signs of decline for the 81-year-old politician. Clips showcasing these moments were labeled by his team as “cheap fakes” used by Republicans to undermine him.

Conversely, while Trump, 78, has also experienced lapses during his campaign, he was often perceived as more energetic and articulate than Biden during their June debate.

In a recent appearance on 'The View', Biden asserted that he believed he could have won the election, stating, “the fact of the matter is my polling was about what – you know – always within the range of beating this guy,” before reflecting on his age.
