Obama was a 'simp' for the deep state, says brother
The former president's career was significantly influenced by the Clintons and other influential figures, and he reportedly felt it necessary to stay within their good graces, according to his half-brother.

In a forthcoming interview with Going Underground host Afshin Rattansi, Malik Obama claimed that Barack Obama courted the ‘deep state’ during his ascent to power and found himself constrained by their directives once he took office. This episode is set to air on Monday.

Malik Obama described his half-brother as having been “a really humble, really nice person” before he entered the political arena. He emphasized that to ascend to the presidency, Barack required support from key figures, saying, “to be the president of the USA, he had to have the backing of certain people like the Clintons” and “the [George] Soros people…the ones who are really controlling everything out there.”

Maintaining that support, alongside backing from the deep state, was vital for Barack Obama, and Malik suggested that his half-brother would not have dared to oppose significant geopolitical moves such as the 2014 coup in Ukraine or the 2011 intervention in Libya against Muammar Gaddafi.

“He would have lost his support,” Malik noted. “He would not be what he is today, because those people are the ones that propped him up and he had to play to them.”

Expressing admiration for President Trump, he stated, “because he does things his own way. He reached out to North Korea and met the leader there. [Obama] could have done that for Muammar Gaddafi. I think he’s just… he’s a simp.”

The term ‘deep state’ refers to unelected and often obscure government officials who influence public policy, especially within intelligence agencies and the military.

Malik Obama shares the same father as Barack and has visited the White House multiple times during his brother’s first term. However, their relationship seems strained; Malik has previously described Barack as “cold and ruthless” and criticized him for neglecting his Kenyan family. He has also made several controversial claims about Barack, including assertions about his sexual orientation and birthplace.

A notable supporter of former President Donald Trump, Malik Obama remembers the time when Trump, prior to running for office in 2016, urged Barack to produce his birth certificate due to doubts about his U.S. citizenship. However, Trump later dropped this line of inquiry and conceded that Obama was indeed born in the U.S.

In the full interview with Rattansi, Malik also addressed the current state of his relationship with Barack and suggested that his half-brother played a role in pressuring President Joe Biden to discontinue his reelection campaign.
