‘Military Industrial Complex’ desires WW3, according to Trump Jr.
The president-elect’s son has criticized the “imbeciles” for inciting conflict.

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of US President-elect Donald Trump, has targeted those he terms "imbeciles" following reports that outgoing President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to utilize American-made long-range missiles to strike deep within Russian territory.

In his social media posts, Trump Jr., who actively campaigned with his father during the 2024 presidential election and is involved in selecting his future cabinet members, was blunt in his assessment.

“The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives,” he wrote on X on Sunday. “Gotta lock in those $Trillions. Life be damned!!! Imbeciles!”

The Biden administration previously limited Ukraine’s use of ATACMS missiles, citing concerns about potential Russian retaliation. However, recent reports indicate that the White House has reversed its stance. As of now, neither the White House nor the Pentagon has commented on the decision.

This reported policy change is largely perceived as a final effort to enhance Ukraine’s military strength before Trump takes office on January 20. Throughout his re-election campaign, Trump questioned the necessity of unconditional aid to Kyiv and pledged to pursue diplomatic solutions to the conflict. His anticipated return to the White House has raised concerns among Democrats, as well as officials in Ukraine and the EU, about the possibility that the new administration could withdraw support for Ukraine.

Moscow has consistently warned that allowing Western weapons to be used deep inside Russia would indicate NATO's direct involvement in the conflict. President Vladimir Putin has previously stated that Russia will take “appropriate decisions in response to the threats.”
