CMG Broadcast Vans Reach Stade de France
Broadcast vehicles from CMG have reached Stade de France
The fleet departed northern Paris in the morning, traveling a scenic route that included the Avenue de la Grande-Armee, the Arc de Triomphe, the Avenue des Champs-Elysees, and the Eiffel Tower on the left bank of the Seine.
Some vans transported equipment to CMG's outdoor broadcast studio near the Eiffel Tower, while the advanced live event broadcast vans were transferred to OBS at Stade de France.
Both overseas Chinese and Parisians took notice of the vans, capturing the rare sight with their phone cameras.
"I'm very excited to see China covering the Olympic Games in Paris. I told every Chinese I know about this, because I feel China is very strong," said Zhang Ruixuan, a Chinese national living in France.
"I was so thrilled when I saw the red vans coming, with Beijing license plates. I felt China is really strong. It's very good," said Li Jie, a Chinese student in France.
"This is a beautiful surprise. Our Chinese friends have come to Paris, promoting the city as the focus of world sports on the occasion of the Olympics. This is wonderful. CMG's broadcast vans have passed by the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, and more. We are thrilled. This is fantastic. Thank you very much," said Paris resident Yaghi Hami.
The broadcast vans will deliver 8K UHD signals of Olympic track and field events and the closing ceremony to a global audience, marking Paris 2024 as the first Summer Olympics with an 8K UHD public broadcast signal.
As a leading broadcaster and the international media organization with the most broadcasting rights for the Paris Olympic Games, CMG is preparing to undertake its largest-scale Olympic coverage ever.
The Paris Olympic Games will run from July 26 to August 11, followed by the Paralympics from August 28 to September 8.
