Biden refers to Trump as ‘the loser’
President Joe Biden asserted on Monday that America is “winning” under Democratic leadership, countering former President Donald Trump's claims of national decline.

At the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Biden defended his administration's record against accusations from his Republican opponent, who has characterized the nation as failing. The event was also a show of support for Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been nominated to run for president following Biden's withdrawal from the race last month due to pressure within the party.

”Think of the message he sends around the world, when he talks about America being a failing nation,” Biden remarked concerning Trump’s statements. “He says we’re losing. He’s the loser. He’s dead wrong.”

Biden encouraged members of the audience, comprising “very successful people who travel the world,” to consider any nation that does not view the U.S. as the leading country globally.

“America’s winning and the world’s better off for it,” Biden stated.

Meanwhile, Trump has criticized Biden as a weak leader lacking respect from foreign leaders and the capability to fulfill presidential duties effectively.

Public sentiment reflects concern about the country’s direction. Recent polls compiled by RealClear Politics show that 64.8% of respondents believe the nation is headed in the wrong direction, while only 25.3% view it positively.

An increasing number of economists, investors, and lawmakers echo Trump’s bleak outlook on the state of the nation, expressing worries about national debt, declining educational performance, rising inequality, issues of national identity, and widespread distrust in the political system.
