US DOJ Unveils ‘The Epstein Files: Phase 1’
Attorney General Pam Bondi has called for an investigation into the FBI for allegedly not disclosing the remaining files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

The Department of Justice has unveiled the first phase of declassified documents concerning Epstein, which primarily comprises flight logs, phone records, and other materials associated with the convicted sex trafficker's network.

Titled ‘The Epstein Files: Phase 1’, these documents were initially provided to a select group of conservative influencers before being made publicly available on Thursday evening. The DOJ has not yet indicated whether further phases will be released or offered any timeline for future disclosures.

“The first phase of files released today sheds light on Epstein’s extensive network and begins to provide the public with long-overdue accountability,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi. “This Department of Justice is following through on President Trump’s commitment to transparency and lifting the veil on the disgusting actions of Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators.”

According to the DOJ statement, this release is part of a larger effort to enhance transparency regarding Epstein’s criminal behavior and his associates. However, some critics are expressing dissatisfaction. Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who heads President Donald Trump’s declassification task force, remarked that the release lacked significant information that the public had anticipated.

The DOJ has not provided information on whether additional names of high-profile individuals connected to Epstein will be disclosed in future releases. The FBI, accused of withholding documents, is also facing mounting pressure to release more materials following Bondi’s call for full disclosure.

Bondi has instructed the FBI to deliver the remaining documents by 8:00 am on Friday and has “tasked FBI Director Kash Patel with investigating why the request for all documents was not followed.”

“There will be no cover-ups, no missing documents, and no stone left unturned – and anyone from the prior or current Bureau who undermines this will be swiftly pursued,” Patel stated after Bondi’s letter demanding the immediate release of all relevant files. “The FBI is entering a new era – one that will be defined by integrity, accountability, and the unwavering pursuit of justice.”
