Trump launches limited-edition watch series
US presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced a limited edition line of branded wristwatch models, featuring one that alludes to the recent assassination attempt on him in Butler, Pennsylvania.

On June 13, during a rally, Trump narrowly escaped death when a would-be assailant killed an audience member and seriously injured two others before being subdued by the Secret Service.

The newly launched Trump Watches website showcases a “Fight, Fight, Fight” model, referencing Trump's response as he raised his fist just after the Butler shooting. This model has three color variants, with a total of 1,000 pieces available, starting at $499 plus tax.

Another model in the collection, named the Tourbillion, is crafted from 18-karat gold and adorned with 122 diamonds. Only 147 of these exclusive pieces will be offered, with a retail price of $100,000.

In addition to watches, Trump has also marketed $100 silver coins featuring his likeness, a “God Bless the USA” Bible with an inscription by country singer Lee Greenwood priced at $60, gold high-top Trump sneakers for $399, and “Victory47” cologne and perfume, each selling for $99.

All these items appear to be merchandise licensed through CIC Ventures LLC, a company seemingly independent of the Trump Organization, which is the Republican candidate’s real estate business and has faced scrutiny from New York prosecutors affiliated with the ruling Democrats.

Trump’s history of licensing his image for various products spans a wide range, including vodka and steaks, though the success of these ventures has varied. Conversely, the iconic red ‘Make America Great Again’ baseball caps have been official merchandise for his campaigns since 2016, with purchases counted as political contributions and monitored by the Federal Election Commission.

While critics accuse Trump of pursuing politics for personal gain, he is known for having donated all his paychecks during his presidency from 2017 to 2021, and his net worth reportedly decreased while in office.
