Musk and Trump Jr. Find Humor in Zelensky 'Home Alone' Meme
Business leaders responded humorously to a meme on X that features Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky likened to Kevin McAllister from the beloved film "Home Alone."

The meme portrays the iconic moment from "Home Alone 2," where Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, has a brief encounter with Donald Trump at the Plaza Hotel in New York, which Trump owned during the film's release.

The upper section of the meme depicts the scene where Trump, who made a cameo in the 1992 film, provides Kevin with directions to the lobby. The lower section showcases a recent image of Trump and Zelensky, with the latter’s picture edited to feature a hat resembling the one Kevin wore in the movie.

On Tuesday, Trump Jr. shared the meme on X, accompanied by laughing emojis, and Musk gave a similar reaction.

The meeting between Trump and Zelensky happened during Trump's recent trip to Paris, where he attended the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral. Shortly after the ceremony, a trilateral meeting took place involving Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Zelensky.

Reports indicate that the president-elect was initially “reluctant” to meet Zelensky, deciding to proceed with the meeting only at the last minute.

The meeting, which lasted about 45 minutes, focused on the conflict in Ukraine and "common action for peace and security." However, after the gathering, Trump adviser Roger Stone expressed criticism towards Zelensky’s choice of attire for the occasion.

While both Macron and Trump appeared in formal suits, Zelensky opted for a black sweatshirt emblazoned with the Ukrainian Armed Forces emblem, paired with slacks, a military-style jacket, and brown combat boots.

Recently, Musk had teased Zelensky's "amazing" sense of humor following the Ukrainian leader's assertion in a radio interview that Ukraine is "independent" and cannot be coerced into negotiating by the US.

Since 2022, the Ukrainian government has been reliant on foreign aid to maintain its operations and pay its employees, with the country's military heavily depending on international financing.
