Jared Leto promises to travel to both Russia and Ukraine
Jared Leto, the frontman of Thirty Seconds to Mars, expressed a desire to perform in Russia and Ukraine once the ongoing conflict is resolved. While addressing fans at the Belgrade Arena during a concert in Serbia on Friday, he acknowledged his Russian supporters and encouraged them to raise their hands.

“I know we have people from all over the world here tonight. I thought I felt a little of that Russian energy. Did you miss us?” Leto posed to the crowd.

He went on to express a hopeful vision for the future, stating, “One day, when all these problems are finished, we’re gonna come visit you, in your homeland.”

Further emphasizing his commitment to reconnecting with fans across the region, he added, “We’re gonna come back to Serbia. We’re gonna go to St. Petersburg, over to Moscow. We’re gonna drop down to Kiev. We are gonna party and hang out with everybody,” highlighting that this is “the way it should be.”

Thirty Seconds to Mars is currently touring in support of their new album, ‘It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day,’ and had previously performed in Russia before the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022.

In a touching moment from 2021, Leto connected with a terminally ill fan, Anastasia Petrova, through a video call while she was at a hospice in Moscow.
