Elon Musk Labels British PM as 'Evil'
Billionaire Elon Musk has intensified his verbal clash with Britain’s Keir Starmer, labeling the UK leader as “evil” for allegedly shielding “rape gangs.” Read Full Article at RT.com
Musk's comments came in response to Starmer’s call for an investigation into former Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s lockdown violations during the Covid-19 pandemic, while refusing to pursue action against “politically protected UK rape gangs.”
In the past two weeks, Musk has focused on the issue of UK “grooming gangs,” highlighting the failures of law enforcement, politicians, and prosecutors in protecting vulnerable children. Reports indicate that these gangs have systematically raped and mistreated tens of thousands of underage girls in northern England over the last twenty years, predominantly involving Pakistani men as perpetrators and white British girls as victims. The scandal, which first gained significant media attention following a 2011 series in The Times, has seen successive governments and police departments allegedly ignoring the issue.
“What was done to thousands of defenseless little girls in Britain was vile beyond belief,” Musk remarked in a Wednesday post. He pointed to cases where the fathers of victims were arrested when they sought to protect their daughters, citing an infamous situation in Rotherham.
Starmer served as the head of the Crown Prosecution Service from 2008 to 2013 during the height of the controversy. His leadership faced heavy criticism for not prosecuting a gang in Rochdale, and a 2015 inquiry indicated that police in Rotherham believed the CPS was reluctant to pursue charges against alleged offenders.
In a response to Musk's assertions, Starmer accused him of spreading “lies and misinformation” regarding his management of the scandal, claiming to have transformed the CPS's approach to child sexual abuse cases. Starmer stated that he left the agency with record numbers of such prosecutions.
However, a BBC investigation pointed out that Starmer only referenced broad prosecution statistics and did not differentiate between gang-related and individual sexual abuse cases. The investigation revealed that while prosecutions under Starmer peaked during his tenure, they increased significantly after he left.
Since Musk began his critique, Starmer’s approval ratings have taken a hit, with a YouGov poll showing 63% of voters disapproving of his government's performance, a decline from December.
During a parliamentary debate, Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch urged for an amendment to an upcoming child protection bill that would establish a national inquiry into the gangs. Starmer dismissed the suggestion, arguing that it would delay the implementation of the bill’s other provisions, making it unlikely to pass given his Labour Party's substantial majority.
“Now why would Keir Starmtrooper order his own party to block such an inquiry?” Musk questioned on X. “Because he is hiding terrible things. That is why.”
