Chen secures gold medal, outperforming Quan in women's 10m platform at Diving World Cup
In a fiercely contested match at the World Aquatics Diving World Cup in Windsor, Canada, Chen Yuxi of China claimed the gold medal in the women's 10-meter platform final, overcoming her teammate Quan Hongchan.

The competition highlighted the incredible skills of both divers, with Chen initially trailing Quan by 15.8 points after a mistake on her second dive. However, Chen bounced back with a strong score of 84.15 points on her third dive, while Quan managed a slightly higher score of 86.40 points, which expanded her lead to 18.05 points.

A crucial moment in the fourth round featured both divers performing the same dive, but Chen stood out with a remarkable execution, scoring 92.4 points. In contrast, Quan faced difficulties with a poor entry, resulting in a score of 64.35 points, causing her to lose the lead.

In the final round, both competitors received scores of 86.40 points, but Chen's previous dives secured her gold with a total score of 417.55 points, finishing approximately 10 points ahead of Quan, who took home the silver medal.

Discussing her performance, Chen remarked, "I may have been nervous before, but now I am more relaxed and focused on my actions. I used a lot of energy and made some changes in my actions, so I am satisfied with my performance here."

In a similar vein, Quan expressed, "I am satisfied with the results, both for this competition and the stop in Mexico. This is beyond my expectations, as I have never done so well in daily training."

In other results from the event, Olympic champions Chen Yiwen and Chang Yani won gold in the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard final with a total score of 312.54 points, finishing 36.24 points ahead of Canada's silver medalists Amelie-Laura Jasmin and Sonya Palkhivala.

Meanwhile, Zhu Zifeng and Cheng Zilong secured the men's synchronized 10-meter platform title, dominating the event with a score of 437.25 points, nearly 50 points ahead of American silver medalists Joshua Hedberg and Carson Tyler.
