Musk supports critique of Zelenskyy accusing him of 'not wanting peace'
Musk has previously taken shots at the Ukrainian leader, mocking his appeals for support from the West.

“Zelensky doesn’t want peace, he wants money and power,” a user on Musk’s platform X wrote on Tuesday, to which Musk responded with the "100" emoji, seemingly indicating his agreement.
Musk has emerged as a key supporter of former President Donald Trump, focusing on reducing the federal government. Additionally, he has been increasingly involved in international affairs, engaging in European politics and supporting far-right politicians across the continent, from the UK to Germany.
He has previously criticized Zelenskyy, derisively responding to his appeals for Western assistance in countering Russia’s invasion and mocking his assertion that Ukraine is an independent nation that cannot be coerced into negotiations with Russia.
Initially, during the early stages of the conflict, Musk contributed thousands of Starlink satellite internet system terminals to Ukraine, helping to restore communication infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks, which earned him recognition as a vital ally for Kyiv.
However, the perception shifted when he started sharing what Ukraine described as pro-Russian propaganda on X. Musk has since denounced American aid to Ukraine as being provided "with no accountability and no end game," becoming a vocal critic of Zelenskyy.
Last November, Musk surprisingly joined a call involving Trump and Zelenskyy, where they reportedly had a “normal conversation.” During the call, Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Musk for supplying Starlink terminals, according to a Ukrainian official at the time.
Recently, negotiators from Russia and the U.S. convened in Saudi Arabia, but Zelenskyy asserted that the discussions occurred without Ukraine’s knowledge or involvement, and European officials were also excluded from the meeting.
