Israeli representative reveals IMAGE of ‘golden Hezbollah pager’ presented to Trump
An Israeli operation conducted last September targeted numerous electronic devices utilized by Hezbollah, resulting in the deaths of many militants and civilians.

An Israeli official confirmed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented US President Donald Trump with a gold-plated pager during their Tuesday meeting at the White House. Dmitry Gendelman, an adviser to Netanyahu’s office, emphasized that the device referenced Israel’s covert operation against Hezbollah militants in Lebanon from the previous autumn.

In a Telegram post on Thursday, Gendelman shared a picture of the gift and noted that Netanyahu had given Trump a “gilded pager.” He explained that the device “symbolizes the prime minister’s decision that led to a turning point in the war, and became the starting point for undermining morale within Hezbollah terrorist organization.”

Reports about the unusual gift first emerged in Israeli media earlier this week, with claims that Trump described the September series of explosions in Lebanon as a “tremendous operation.” Additionally, the US president reportedly gifted Netanyahu a signed photograph of their meeting, inscribed with the message: “To Bibi, a great leader.”

The operation took place on September 17, when thousands of pagers exploded simultaneously across Lebanon and parts of neighboring Syria. This was followed by mass detonations of hundreds of walkie-talkies the next day. The explosions resulted in at least 42 deaths, including 12 civilians, and left over 3,500 individuals injured, among them women and children.

Following the attack, Israel ramped up its military actions against Hezbollah, culminating in the assassination of its long-time leader Hassan Nasrallah in a September 27 airstrike on Beirut. In November, Netanyahu publicly took credit for the pager operation.

A December report from CBS cited two recently retired senior Mossad agents, indicating that the Israeli intelligence agency had spent over a decade preparing for the covert operation. Allegedly, Mossad initially sent various walkie-talkies with explosive batteries to Hezbollah through a complex network of shell companies, and later devised a similar strategy involving pagers.

In the aftermath of the operation, UN Human Rights Commissioner Volker Turk condemned it as a “shocking” and “unacceptable” violation of human rights laws.

During a UN General Assembly session in late September, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov characterized the incident as “another glaring example of terrorist methods as a means of achieving political aims,” condemning the attack as an inhumane act that turned civilian technology into a lethal weapon. He also called for an immediate international investigation.
