The gold medal in this event was won by Devynne Charlton from the Bahamas, who achieved a season-best time of 7.72 seconds. Silver was awarded to Ditaji Kambundji from Switzerland, who finished just 0.01 seconds behind, while Jamaica's Ackera Nugent completed the podium in third place with a time of 7.74 seconds.
In the men's 4x400m relay, American sprinters showcased their dominance by claiming the title with a time of 3:03.13. The team, which included Chris Bailey, Brian Faust, Jacory Patterson, and Elija Godwin, finished nearly two seconds ahead of Jamaica. China, which had held a third-place position for several laps, was overtaken by Hungary's Attila Molnar, who secured the bronze medal with a national record of 3:06.03. China finished fourth, also setting a national record with a time of 3:06.90.
The USA's Quanera Hayes, Bailey Lear, Rosey Effiong, and Alexis Holmes won the women’s 4x400m relay gold as well, completing the final in 3:27.45. Poland took the silver with a time of 3:32.05, while Australia earned the bronze in 3:32.65.
In a thrilling finish to the men’s 800m final, American Josh Hoey edged out Belgium's Eliott Crestan and Spain's Elvin Canales, winning with a time of 1:44.77. Hoey surged to the lead in the final stretch but had to maintain his position, finishing just 0.04 seconds ahead of the competition.
South Africa's Prudence Sekgodisoa secured the women's 800m gold with a world-leading indoor personal best of 1:58.40, marking her first global medal. Nigist Getachew of Ethiopia finished in second place, followed by Patricia Silva in third.
Norwegian star Jakob Ingebrigtsen achieved an impressive distance double by following his gold in the 3,000m with another victory in the 1,500m, finishing in 3:38.79. Britain's Neil Gourley claimed silver with a time of 3:39.07, while American Luke Houser took home the bronze.
Ethiopia's Gudaf Tsegay continued to shine by enhancing her own championship record to 3:54.86 in the women's 1,500m. Tsegay led an Ethiopian 1-2 finish, with Diribe Welteji securing silver in 3:59.30. Britain's Georgia Hunter Bell achieved a personal best of 3:59.84 to complete the podium.
In the long jump, Italy's Mattia Furlani emerged victorious with a winning leap of 8.30 meters. Jamaica’s Wayne Pinnock followed closely with a fourth-round jump of 8.29 meters, while Australia’s Liam Adcock, competing in his first indoor event, claimed bronze with a jump of 8.28 meters.
American Claire Bryant earned the women's long jump title with an outstanding performance. In her major international debut, Bryant led from the first round and set a personal best of 6.96 meters in the fifth round, securing the gold. Silver went to Switzerland's Annik Kalin, and Spain's Fatima Diame took the bronze.
In the high jump, Australia’s Nicola Olyslagers successfully defended her title, clearing 1.97 meters, edging out her teammate Eleanor Patterson. The bronze was awarded to Ukraine’s Yaroslava Mahuchikh, who cleared 1.95 meters.
New Zealand's Tom Walsh captured his third shot put title, achieving a season's best throw of 21.65 meters to clinch gold by a narrow margin of three centimeters over Sweden's Roger Steen. The bronze medal went to American Adrian Piperi with a throw of 21.48 meters.
Norwegian Sander Skotheim added another victory to his record, winning the heptathlon title with a score of 6,475 points, just weeks after claiming the European indoor title. Estonia’s Johannes Erm earned silver with a national record of 6,437 points, while Germany’s Till Steinforth took bronze with 6,275 points.
