Trump vows to avoid engaging in foreign conflicts
Voting for Kamala Harris would be a “gamble with the lives of millions,” according to the Republican candidate.

Former US President Donald Trump addressed a crowd in Pennsylvania this weekend, highlighting his commitment to not send Americans to fight and die in unfamiliar countries. During his campaign rally on Saturday, he asserted that he is uniquely positioned to avert the risk of global conflict, asserting that his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris, “would get us into World War III guaranteed because she is too grossly incompetent to do the job.”

“To make her president would be to gamble with the lives of millions of people. Sons and daughters will end up getting drafted to fight in a war in a country you’ve never heard of,” he stated.

In his nomination acceptance speech earlier this year, Trump pledged to “end every single international crisis that the current administration has created,” specifically mentioning the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza. While he has not detailed any specific strategies for achieving global peace, he has consistently warned that by supporting and financing “other people’s wars” under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, the US is heightening the risk of entering World War III.

Recently, Trump expressed on his Truth Social platform that “if Kamala gets four more years, the Middle East will spend the next four decades going up in flames, and your kids will be going off to war.”

He assured the crowd on Saturday, “But I will not send you to fight and die in a foolish, never-ending foreign war.”

Trump continued to emphasize that American families should not be forced to send their children off to war, risking their lives for countries they have never even heard of, which have no interest in the US.

The Republican candidate has promised to resolve the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours of taking office by compelling both sides to negotiate.

Harris, a strong advocate for Ukraine, has criticized Trump's methods, arguing that he would effectively demand a surrender from Kiev. Meanwhile, the Kremlin has expressed skepticism regarding Trump’s promises of peace, with spokesman Dmitry Peskov suggesting that he does not “think there is a magic wand” that can instantly halt the violence.

Additionally, Trump claimed that he could have averted the Hamas incursion into Israel on October 7 of last year, telling podcaster Joe Rogan that during his presidency, he ensured that Tehran did not have the financial means to support its proxies.
