Shanghai Port Continues Winning Streak, Shandong Decimates 10-Man Dalian
Defending champions Shanghai Port maintained their strong performance in the Chinese Super League with a 2-0 victory over Changchun Yatai at home on Friday, marking their second consecutive win as they embark on their title defense.

Yatai manager Xie Hui, facing his former club where he had previously served as assistant coach, witnessed his team generate several counterattacking chances but fail to score in a goalless first half. The stalemate was broken in the 54th minute when Leonardo's powerful shot hit the post, allowing Feng Jin to follow up on the rebound. The Brazilian striker secured the win for Port eight minutes into stoppage time, taking advantage of Yatai's defensive lapse.

This result puts Port at the top of the table with a perfect record, while Yatai remains without a win in their first two matches.

In other action, Shandong Taishan recorded their first victory of the season in impressive style, overpowering newly promoted Dalian Yingbo with a 4-1 scoreline at home.

Crysan kicked off the scoring with a curling shot in the 12th minute, but Dalian's Brazilian striker Fernando Karanga leveled the game against his former team, finishing off a precise cross from Mao Weijie. However, Dalian’s hopes quickly diminished when Karanga received a straight red card after a VAR review for a reckless aerial challenge on Lucas Gazai.

Shandong took back control of the match with Zeca's composed finish following a surge from Crysan. Guiherme Madruga added a late header, and Xie Wenneng scored in injury time to round off the comprehensive win. This decisive victory elevates Shandong to second place, while Dalian continues to struggle defensively, having conceded five goals in just two matches.
