It intends to “honor and celebrate” a group of individuals who were involved in the January 6 Capitol riot, with tickets priced starting at $1,500.
On January 6, 2021, a large group of Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol in an effort to block the certification of Joe Biden’s presidential victory, which they contested. The situation escalated into chaos, requiring extensive efforts from the US Capitol Police to restore peace.
