Trump Criticizes Biden's Advisers as ‘Very Bad’
The US president has asserted that his predecessor was misled by his aides, particularly regarding Ukraine and Israel.

In an interview with Fox News published on Wednesday, Donald Trump claimed that the situation involving Ukraine and Israel escalated rapidly due to former President Joe Biden receiving poor guidance on both matters.

During his conversation with Sean Hannity, Trump stated that Biden had “very bad advisers” on “almost everything.”

“He got very bad advice, like he has in everything. He got bad advice on Ukraine, that war should have never started. He got bad advice on Israel. He got bad advice on the way he got out of Afghanistan; we should have gotten out with strength and dignity, not like a bunch of losers,” the president said.

Throughout his election campaign, Trump emphasized that the conflict in Ukraine would not have arisen if he had been in office and vowed to end the hostilities within “24 hours” of taking office. However, following his inauguration on Monday, he assigned his special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, the task of resolving the conflict within 100 days.

Earlier this week, Trump issued a veiled ultimatum to Russia, urging it to “settle now” and cease the fighting or face “high levels of taxes, tariffs and sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the US” and other nations.

At the same time, Trump expressed his “love” for the Russian people and assured that he was not “looking to hurt Russia,” recalling its role in defeating Nazi Germany during World War II.

“We can do it the easy way, or the hard way – and the easy way is always better,” Trump noted in a post on his Truth Social platform.

Trump has consistently indicated his willingness to engage in discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin, suggesting that the two leaders are likely to make contact “very soon.”

Putin has shown a positive response to Trump's intention to reconnect Moscow and Washington but emphasized that any potential dialogue must occur on an “equal and mutually respectful basis."
