Elon Musk charges that the administration of former US President Joe Biden has diverted billions in taxpayer funds, which should have been used to assist Americans in need, towards supporting undocumented migrants.
As a close ally of current US President Donald Trump, Musk leads the Department of Government Efficiency, an organization dedicated to reducing government waste.
Musk has been outspoken regarding the economic consequences of illegal immigration and often critiques government spending on social services for individuals in the country without legal authorization. He argues that federal policies have encouraged unlawful border crossings while imposing a significant financial burden on US citizens.
“Under the Biden administration, billions of dollars were shifted from helping Americans in need to facilitating illegal immigration. Super messed up!” Musk stated in a post on X on Tuesday.
