The second phase of the 136th Canton Fair came to a close on Sunday, highlighting a wide variety of advanced home products with the theme "Quality Home Living."

Taking place from October 23 to 27, this phase was structured into three distinct sections: building materials and furniture, household items, and gifts and decorations, each reflecting the scale of a major professional exhibition.

The arrangement aimed to facilitate one-stop specialized purchasing, enhance supplier-buyer matching efficiency, and foster cooperation and development within the industry, thereby generating more business opportunities.

This phase included 15 exhibition areas, featuring over 24,700 booths and welcoming 10,000 exhibitors, marking an increase of 220 compared to the previous event.

In addition to its scale, this phase emphasized the presence of high-quality specialized enterprises, with more than 2,300 notable exhibitors, including "little giant" enterprises, national manufacturing champions, and high-tech enterprises, representing an increase of 872 from the last session.

The fair's online platform experienced a marked enhancement in participation. By October 21, nearly 1.59 million products had been uploaded for the second phase, the highest total across all phases. This included 429,000 new products, 305,000 green and low-carbon items, and 48,000 smart products, showcasing a significant rise compared to the last edition.

The third phase of the fair is scheduled to begin on October 31, with the theme "Beautiful Life," featuring lifestyle consumer products such as home textiles, apparel, luggage, food, and sports and recreational items.

Canton Fair is held biannually, every spring and autumn, and is divided into three phases each time.
