Trump Jr. claims the Biden administration desires 'World War III'
The son of the president-elect criticized "the imbeciles" in Washington for allegedly authorizing Ukrainian missile strikes deep within Russia.

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of US President-elect Donald Trump, took aim at the Democrats following claims that outgoing President Joe Biden has permitted Ukraine to use American-made long-range missiles against recognized Russian territory.

Having campaigned alongside his father during the 2024 presidential election, Trump Jr. has also been involved in selecting members for the upcoming cabinet. He expressed his frustration on social media without holding back.

“The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives,” he stated on X this past Sunday. “Gotta lock in those $Trillions. Life be damned!!! Imbeciles!”

The Biden administration had previously limited Ukraine's use of ATACMS missiles, due to concerns over potential retaliation from Russia. However, reports from multiple news outlets suggest that the White House has since reversed this policy. Neither the White House nor the Pentagon has commented on the situation.

This reported shift is largely interpreted as a last-minute effort to enhance Ukraine’s military strength before Trump’s inauguration on January 20. Throughout his re-election campaign, the president-elect expressed skepticism about the need for unconditional support to Ukraine and promised to pursue a diplomatic resolution to the conflict. His expected return to the White House has raised concerns among Democrats and officials in Ukraine and the EU about the possibility of the new administration withdrawing support.

Moscow has consistently warned that the use of Western weaponry deep within Russia would indicate NATO's direct involvement in the conflict. President Vladimir Putin remarked that Russia would make “appropriate decisions in response to the threats.”
